These3Dgesture'paintings'allowtheartisttoexperiment

associatedwiththemediumof3D.Whileareference
photographisusedforthepurposesofthelecture,the
techniqueshavebeendevelopedunderthetimeconstraintsof
workinginfrontofalivemodel.

Techniqueswillbedemonstratedforthethreephasesof
creatingaquickstudy;modeling,texturingandlighting
usingZBrush,3DCoatandModo.Eachofthephaseswillbe
builtfromthegroundup,andthepurposeofeachcomponent
isdemonstrated.Thismethodologycaneasilyserveasa
foundational'underpaint'foramorepolished,realizedwork.
Whentheunderpaintissolid,morefinishedworkissolely
amatterofaddingadditionallayersandfillingindetails.
